Les Sybelles, the 4th largest ski area in France, consists mainly of three main ski stations with a greater concentration of lifts and slopes - Saint Sorlin d'Arves (1,600 m), Le Corbier (1,550 m) and La Toussuire (1,750 m). Three other smaller resorts - St. Jean d'Arves (1 550 m), Les Bottieres (1 300 m) and St. Colomban des Villards (1 100 m) - are connected by lifts and ski runs. The whole area comprises around 300 km of slopes, which, apart from the traversable paths, are dominated by less demanding slopes, which are especially appreciated by families with children.
